Historic Homes in Connecticut Scrapbook Page

Last month, I finished scrapbooking some of my November 2023 photos. We took a short vacation to Connecticut and visited the Mark Twain House, as well as some of the other historic homes nearby.

I really liked this fall-themed scrapbook collection from Simple Stories. It fit with the beautiful fall leaves in the photos, and it even had a few "home" pieces in it that I knew would be perfect for the photos.

For the title, I pulled alphas from my stash. There are some puffy alphas from Pinkfresh Studio and two sets of paper sticker alphas from Simple Stories. Don't you love when you can create a title using alphas in your stash?

For this layout and all the others I've been sharing recently, I took inspiration from my Scrapbook/Cards Pinterest board. I've found that planning out my scrapbooking - from sketching out inspiration to being selective about what scrapbook items I purchase - has been really helpful for me. It slows down the process, for sure, but at least I'm being intentional with everything.

What's been helping you finish scrapbook pages?
