Popcorn Lover's Day and Hershey's Cookie Bites - Review

Happy Popcorn Lover's Day! Listen, there is nothing better than popcorn for dinner. Am I alone in this?

My mom and I used to do popcorn for dinner all the time, and the habit has just kind of stuck with me. If there's a night when I'm on my own for dinner, why spend time making something? Just pop a bag of popcorn!

I recently got the chance to review a new Hershey's product through BzzAgent: Chocolate Cookie Bites. They sent me a free bag, and I was super excited to share it with my daughter, who loves all things chocolate. (Can you believe there was a time when she refused to eat a Hershey's chocolate bar?)

The back of the bag showed a picture of suggested use: the cookie bites mixed into a bowl of popcorn.

SO, wanting to do something special for a recent movie night with my daughter, I popped up a bag of our favorite Orville Redenbacher Naturals Sea Salt popcorn and then added some of the Hershey's Chocolate Cookie Bites into my daughter's bowl of popcorn. Imagine chocolate melting on top of warm popcorn.

Oh yeah. It looked amazing.

I mean, the Hershey's Cookie Bites are good on their own. (Don't tell - I snuck a few, even though they are not lactose-free.) But when you get that sweet and salty mix, you're in heaven!

You could even sneak a bag of the cookie bites into the movie theater and add it to the movie theater popcorn! Not that I'm condoning sneaking food into the theater... but I do it.

With Easter coming up, are you looking to fill your kids' Easter baskets with candy? A bag of Hershey's cookie bites could be a good option! Divvy the bag up into all those plastic eggs! (Just make sure the egg hunt isn't on a hot day - ha ha.)

Whether you're mixing chocolate and popcorn or just enjoying each on its own, I hope you have a wonderful Popcorn Lover's Day!
