Two-Page Concert Scrapbook Layout - Process 320

Today's two-page scrapbook layout is ACTUALLY a two-page layout with a bonus 6x12 flap. I had SO MANY photos from a Hanson concert I attended last summer, and I couldn't part with any of them. So I found a great multi-photo sketch from last month's 30 Days of Sketches with Christy's Beautiful Life. You can see how all THREE pages of this layout came together in today's process video.

The original sketch called for the photos to be 2x2 size. Luckily, it wasn't too hard to cut down the majority of my photos, but I set aside a few that I thought would be too big to cut down and saved them for the 6x12 photo flap. To make everything cohesive from two-page layout to 6x12 flap, I cut down scraps of patterned paper from the first two pages into 2x2 squares and created a grid pattern with them on the 6x12 background.

And here's the photo flap in its entirety. Two of the photos I was able to cut down to 4x4, and the third photo that I had set aside actually did get cut down into three separate 2x2 photos. I liked bringing that element and the same patterned papers from the two-page spread onto this smaller flap. I purchased 6x12 photo flaps from Close to My Heart that will stick to my 12x12 page protector.

These pages all use the concert-themed kit I put together as part of this month's haul. If you missed that video, I started with a You Rock sticker sheet from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and then found patterned papers from other collections to match.

The sticker sheet was boy-themed, and at first, I wasn't sure how I would use some of the stickers, but this layout about a three-brother-band actually ended up being just perfect for most of the sticker sentiments! I also added some ephemera from Obed Marshall.

Oh, and I finished things off with some Faded Denim splatters from Tim Holtz.

I hope you enjoy today's layout! Thanks for looking!
