Challenge YOUrself December Challenge - Black & White Photo - Scrapbook Process 288

Get ready! It's time for the LAST Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge of 2022! This month, you're challenged to use a photo of YOU somewhere on the layout, but the photo has to be black and white! Head over to the Challenge YOUrself blog to see what the rest of the design team created and find out how to enter for a chance to win a prize!

I went the Halloween route for his layout, scrapbooking a photo of my costumed daughter and myself right before we went trick-or-treating. You can watch how this layout came together in my process video.

Because I didn't have many Halloween things, I gathered up as many embellishments as I could - some Halloween-themed, some not - and then created my own background on some Vicki Boutin Foundations paper! I used a cloud stencil that I had purchased from Paper Issues awhile ago and inked my own background of spooky clouds!

Then I added in my photo and embellishments, all of which are a mix of Keep It Simple, Bella Blvd, and Simple Stories!

This was super easy and fun to put together! And it reminds me that before I start scrapbooking the rest of Halloween 2022, I do need more Halloween papers and embellishments!

Thanks for looking!
