Challenge YOUrself Scrapbook Process 203

There's a beautiful color scheme as this month's Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge! Create a layout using this color palette, and don't forget to include a photo of yourself on the page!

I mixed some of my Doodlebug Love Notes collection with Echo Park Teen Squad because the colors were spot on for this color challenge. You can see it come together in my process video.

I was inspired by a layout that Shimelle created during one of her January lives. I liked doing it so much that I decided to do it again for this challenge. Essentially, you've got two pieces of 12x12 paper. I chose one patterned paper and one solid cardstock. Then I tore the patterned paper in a diagonal and adhered it to the top of the cardstock.

From there, I backed my photos and then found embellishments, cut-aparts, stickers, and chipboard stickers to create layers starting from behind the photos. I placed everything where I wanted it first, and then I carefully went back to stick it all down just so.

This is such an easy design that you can do with just about any papers and embellishments that you have in your stash. Another good one for a no-spend year!

I hope you play along with this month's challenge for your chance to win a prize!
