One of the cool things about the Online Gluten-Free Expo is that you get to enter giveaways, and sometimes, you win! I actually won four giveaways, and one of them was from Blue Dinosaur Paleo Bars.
There are a lot of different flavors of the company's Paleo Bars, including Apple Pie, Chocolate Orange, Cocoa Mint, and Lamington (it's an Aussie company, after all). They sent me a free Wild Apricot Paleo Bar, which was delicious! Not to mention, it was gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free! At 190 calories per bar, these make great on-the-go snacks or quick breakfasts.
The company was started by a firefighter who wanted a more convenient way to eat healthy while also leading an active lifestyle. These bars are easy for you to throw in your pocket or purse so that whether you're riding your bike, rushing out the door to work, or feeding your kid a snack, you have something healthy to consume with no prep or planning.
Blue Dinosaur also makes Protein Bars and limited-edition Custard Bars. I can't wait to purchase and try some of the other flavors! You can try them, too, by purchasing at a store near you or ordering online!
