Savvy Sheldon Feels Good as Hell by Taj McCoy (Harlequin Trade Publishing)

McCoy is a champion of plus-sized romance stories, and in this novel, Savvy gets a post-breakup makeover and a kitchen renovation. Of course, she falls for the handsome contractor. Typical rom-com hijinks ensue.

Sister Stardust by Jane Green (Harlequin Trade Publishing)

The word "wahala" means "trouble" in Nigerian, and that's exactly what happens when a group of three women allow a fourth to join. With comparisons to Sex in the City and Big Little Lies, this novel explores female friendship.

The Tobacco Wives by Adele Myers (William Morrow)

This historical fiction novel is set in 1946. A seamstress for the socialite wives of Big Tobacco executives uncovers the industries secrets. The novel sheds light on the hidden history of women's activism during the post-war period, as well as the importance of seeking the truth.

Angels of the Pacific by Elise Hooper (William Morrow)

Pub date: 3/8/22

Another historical fiction book that tells the true story of American nurse prisoners of war during World War II. This was compared to Hazel Gaynor's When We Were Young and Brave.
