Best of Online Gluten-Free Expo 2021 - CHOMPS

Are you ready to embark on a meaty journey with me? I got the chance to try out a free sample package of Chomps as part of being an Online Gluten-Free Expo blogger and part of the Chomps affiliate program. These meat sticks DO NOT DISAPPOINT.

Chomps takes the pantry staple of beef jerky and flips it on its head by using simple ingredients to make beef, turkey, and venison jerky that's delicious and a little bit healthier for you. These snack sticks contain 9-10 grams of protein and zero grams of sugar.

What are Chomps?

Chomps sticks are sourced from 100-percent grass-fed and finished beef and venison. They are also certified gluten-free, paleo, and Whole 30-approved. Not to mention they are free from the top 8 allergens, contain no nitrates or nitrites, and don't include fillers. This is also a company you can feel good about purchasing from because the manufacturing processes take into account the environment, animal welfare, and nutrition.

Chomps come in two sizes: the original Chomps sticks and mini versions called Chomplings. You can get the original Chomps in the following flavors:

  • Original Beef
  • Jalapeno Beef
  • Original Turkey
  • Salt & Pepper Venison
  • Sea Salt Beef
  • Pepperoni Seasoned Turkey
  • Jalapeno Turkey
  • Italian Style Beef
  • Cranberry Habanero Beef
That's a lot of flavor choices!

The Chomplings come in Original Beef, Original Turkey, and Italian Style Beef.

Why I Like Chomps

I received a sampler pack for free from Chomps as part of my affiliate partnership with them, and so far my favorite flavors are Original Beef and Original Turkey. I have yet to attempt the Jalapeno Beef (I fear the spice!), but the Cranberry Habanero Beef is definitely next on my list to try. Doesn't that sound like a fun flavor combo?

I like to eat Chomps as part of a snack-style lunch: one Chomps or Chomplings, a plant-based muffin, and some fruit. (I'm a light luncher.)

But Chomps are also great for snacktime. Just throw a stick in your bag and purse, and when you need a little pick-me-up, you're good to go thanks to these protein-filled meat sticks.

Did you know that you can also use Chomps in recipes? The Chomps website has everything from a Thanksgiving Stuffing recipe to beef chili, pizza, and quiche. I can't wait to adapt the Pesto Pepperoni Pizza recipe (using the Pepperoni Seasoned Turkey stick) to be not only gluten-free but dairy-free, as well. I'm sure you can come up with other fun ways to eat Chomps, too!

How to Purchase Chomps

Ready to buy? You can find Chomps in 16,000 retail locations across the country, or use my affiliate link to purchase directly from Chomps! (I also get a portion of the sales when you purchase through my link.)

Due to overwhelming demand, the company is experiencing temporary inventory constraints and have temporarily paused online shopping on the Chomps website. But they will be back up and running soon!
