Quest Nutrition recently expanded into the candy aisle with a better-for-you version of the classic peanut butter cup. Each serving of two peanut butter cups has less than 1g of sugar, 11 grams of protein, and 1g of net carbs. You're getting that delicious combo of peanut butter and chocolate plus the Macros that Quest is known for.
I was sent a free box of the new peanut butter cups to try out.
So what did I think? Well, I personally could not eat them because they do contain milk. However, they are certified gluten-free, so they were safe for my Reese's-loving husband to eat. The question then becomes what did he think?
"Pretty good. Not as soft as the original, but it's still got that same flavor."
Sounds like a positive review to me!
Something to note if food allergies are an issue for you, these also contain peanuts, and they are processed in a facility that also processes soy, wheat, and tree nuts.
If you're trying to cut back on sugar but still crave something sweet, the Quest Peanut Butter Cups will fit right into your nutrition plan. You can find them in two-packs, four-packs, and 12-packs at Target, Walmart, Amazon, GNC, Hy-Vee, Vitamin Shoppe, Wegmans, Speedway, Giant Eagle, Questnutrition.com, and most specialty health stores.
