July 2020 To-Read List

Not a packed list of books to read this month. I have a few carry-overs from last month due to surprise review books coming my way. (Those are coming up on the blog next week so stay tuned for reviews!)

You can hear more about each book on my July to-read list in the video here. A brief synopsis of each book is also below.

The Way I Heard It by Mike Rowe
Stories from Rowe's varied experiences that taught him life lessons. Sort of a memoir. Published in 2019.

Night-Night by Cynthia MacGregor
Bedtime activities to help kids go to sleep faster - no more "Just one more story!" This was actually published in 2003, but I just received a review copy from the publisher a few weeks ago.

Anatomy of a Scandal by Sarah Vaughan
Got this for free through the Glose app. A woman has the perfect life, until her husband's indiscretions are revealed. What's true and what's not? Published in 2018.

The House on Fripp Island by Rebecca Kaufman
This book just came out last month. Two families vacation together, but are the moms really as good friends as they used to be?

Private Means by Cree LeFavour
Recaps the summer of two recent empty-nesters as they navigate loss and love. Comes out in August.
