Peppa Pig - My First Album

My daughter is a huge Peppa Pig fan. You probably already know that she watches it while sitting on the potty. So, she watches it a lot. (It's kind of like our Seinfeld, at this point. Things we do or see always circle back to an episode of Peppa.)

If your kid is a Peppa fan, too, then he or she might be excited to know that Peppa Pig has released an album! The album, which is available for digital download today, is part of a 15th anniversary celebration for the brand. (Hard to believe that the show has been around for that long!)

The album includes 16 newly recorded music tracks, including extended versions of favorite songs. (I'm loving "Bing Bong Zoo".) It features Harley Bird, the most recent voice of Peppa Pig, on several tracks, as well as songs from the recent UK and Australian release of Peppa Pig: Festival of Fun.

If you've watched the show, you'll know that music plays a huge role throughout every episode. Sometimes it's just Peppa singing a little ditty, and other times there are recurring songs, like the "Bing Bong Song". Or Grampy Rabbit's "Sea and Sky" song, which my daughter sings for us all the time now while playing a guitar puzzle piece.

I think this is going to be a fun way for kids to hear their favorite songs from the show and more even when they're not at home watching. Listen in the car, on a plane, etc. Or have dance parties with Peppa at home!

My daughter loves it! We listen to it in the car all the time. The only song my daughter doesn't like is the Mr. Potato song, and that's only because she can't hear Peppa. All Peppa all the time!

Anybody else have Peppa Pig fans out there?
