This is my last design team project for The International Scrapbook Garden! I am sad that there will be no more kits for awhile, but I hope that Tracie starts curating them again soon because she is so good at it!
I decided to create a simple card using the A Rustic Spring kit, partly because I needed to write back to my aunt and I wanted a nice handmade card to send to her.
A couple months ago I found a pack of blank white notecards in the $1 spot at Target, so that's what I've been using to create my handmade cards. For this one, I just adhered some of the Bo Bunny paper onto the front of the card and filled in any blank spots with a 49 and Market branding strip, the one that said "Beauty Lies Within Each of Us". That's a very nice sentiment!
Then I added all the leftover 49 and Market Floral Mixology Blue Hawaiian flowers to the printed vase on the patterned paper to create some dimension there, tied the pink twine into a bow, and hot glued it to the vase.
Then I just did some black inking around the edge of the card for added effect and to make everything stand out more. It couldn't have been easier!
I hope that you've enjoyed seeing what I've created with The International Scrapbook Garden kits. I know I have enjoyed working with them! And don't forget that you can still purchase past kits and individual items from the shop while supplies last.
