We went blueberry picking today. And guess who we saw?
Our good friends Danae and Steve.
Okay so it wasn't really that much of a surprise. We hadn't planned on picking berries together but Thursday we discovered that we, unbeknownst to the other, had planned on going to the exact same farm on the exact same day. Crazy, right? So we ended up meeting them at the farm and picking blueberries together. Then we got homemade ice cream (I had black raspberry - yum!) at the farm's little market.
We only picked a pound of blueberries because it is kind of expensive to pick your own when compared to how many blueberries you can get at the grocery store for $1.99. BUT... it was an outing for the hubs and I, and now I can cross pick-your-own off my to-do list.
And now I can also go make frozen blueberry lemonade.
