September Mix It Up Monday - Process 357

Let's get messy! It's Mix It Up Monday, a monthly hop hosted by Anna from Piece Craft Love and Kimberly from I'd Rather Be Scrapbooking. It challenges scrapbookers to take a sketch and add mixed media to it. I created a Disney layout this month. The photo was taken at Epcot back in January. I happened to have one full piece of Disney Echo Park paper left, and then I layered up a bunch of embellishments around the photo.

As for my mixed media, hopefully you can see the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide splatters! I used Squeezed Lemonade and Speckled Egg.

But I also did some gesso work by turning an old cardboard ribbon container into a stamp and stamping white gesso circles behind the photo. It definitely gives the layout texture!
