Happy Friday, everyone! To kick off the weekend, here's the new scrapbook challenge at Challenge YOUrself: My Happy Place. So use a photo of you somewhere on your layout and interpret that prompt however you'd like.
Here's my take on the challenge. Check out how it came together in my process video. I chose to scrapbook about watching a sunset on the beach in Montauk. It was definitely a happy place for me right then.
I used pieces from my Paper Issues Warehouse Box. (Did you catch that haul video? Don't miss out on this fab box!) I also added in a few beachy-themed embellishments from an older Simple Stories collection.
This was also designed as part of last month's 30 Days of Sketches challenge. If you watched my June layout share video, you might have seen this layout in the corner of the camera. I had actually shown it, and then realized after the fact that I didn't want to spoil the reveal by posting it ahead of time, so I edited it out of the video. Ha ha!
