I'm still scrapbooking Halloween 2022 photos. I used today's Mix It Up Monday inspiration (hosted by Piece Craft Love) to create an orange mixed media background for these trick-or-treat photos. Check out my process video for more info on the Mix It Up Monday hop and this layout's creation!
As always with Mix It Up Monday, there's a sketch to inspire us. The sketch inspired me to create a similar background design with a stencil and pumpkin-colored Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray. Was it messy? Yes. And that's the whole point of this hop!
Then I used my Crate Paper Halloween collection to add patterned paper behind my photos and cut-apart. I mainly used the Crate Paper stickers as embellishments, but I also found some more Doodlebug Halloween stickers in a drawer, so I threw some of those on here, too.
And yes, my daughter got her picture taken with a peanut M & M. We live in the same town as M&Ms/Mars. It has its perks on Halloween.
