It's a new month, which means a new scrapbook challenge at Challenge YOUrself! This month's prompt is a PageMaps sketch. I just love using scrapbook sketches to inspire me when I sit down to scrapbook, and I absolutely love PageMaps sketches because they give you the photo dimensions and can be interpreted in many different ways.
Watch how my layout came together (very quickly!) in today's scrapbook process video.
The products on this single-page scrapbook layout are from a variety of manufacturers. Most of the patterned paper is Keep It Simple Hello Adventure, while there's also some Doodlebug Designs Petite Prints and Simple Stories.
The embellishments are a mixture of Paige Evans stickers, Illustrated Faith die-cuts, and Keep It Simple punch-out paper embellishments.
Some of the embellishments I popped up with foam dots to give the page some extra dimension. I did a lot of layering with them, which I really like the look of. Layering is so fun for me, especially when I'm layering up a bunch of items from different collections.
My pictures are 2x3 size, printed from my Canon Ivy mini printer. These are pictures of me and my daughter picking wildflowers at our local farm.
I hope that you visit the Challenge YOUrself website and enter your take on the sketch. Just remember to include a photo of YOU somewhere on the page!
Thanks for looking!
