7 Best Gifts for Scrapbookers 2021

Christmas is almost here (just 99 days away!), and if you're shopping for a scrapbooker, you might be wondering what to get her. Purchasing gifts for crafters can be hard. I mean, each scrapbooker has his/her own unique style, so you may understandably be wary of purchasing patterned paper and embellishments for fear that it's not the right style.

But hopefully, this shortlist of scrapbook gift ideas will make it easy for you to give the scrapbooker in your life something useful in their scrappy endeavors.

1. Adhesive

One of the best gifts for crafters is adhesive! If you know what type of adhesive your scrapbooker likes, then this one is an easy one. You can't go wrong with foam dots or foam squares, and mini glue dots are always great for adhering small embellishments.

Some scrapbookers like to use an ATG, while others prefer smaller tape runners or, like me, double-sided adhesive squares

2. Albums

I'd wager a bet that most scrapbookers have tons of completed layouts just stacked up on a shelf somewhere waiting for an album home. Why is that? Because scrapbook albums can be expensive, and we'd all rather spend our crafting money on the good stuff - papers and embellishments! Ask to see one of your scrapbooker's most recent albums and take note of the size and whether it's post-bound or D-ring. (D-ring is the way to go, for me.) Then purchase one with a pretty cover. Your scrapbooker will thank you!

3. Page Protectors

Page protectors also go along with scrapbook albums as great scrapbook ideas for gifts. Some albums come with 10 or so page protectors, while others don't include any. So throwing in an extra pack of page protectors that fit the size of the album you've purchased is a good idea.

4. Gift Card to Favorite Store

If you know where your scrapbooker likes to shop, this is an easy one! Gift cards to her favorite store, such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby, mean she can purchase whatever she needs. Some scrapbookers, like myself, prefer to shop online at retailers such as Scrapbook.com and Paper Issues. Both stores have digital gift cards. If your scrapbooker shops at a local brick-and-mortar scrapbook store, give them a call to see if gift certificates are available.

5.  Scrapbook Magazine Subscription

Something else that makes a great scrapbook gift is a subscription to a scrapbook magazine. Many print publications have gone digital or out of business, but Scrapbook & Cards Today, based in Canada, is still going strong. It publishes four seasonal issues, puts out calls for scrapbook layouts, and provides so much inspiration. I always enjoy reading it when I can get it for free through a Scrapbook.com purchase.

6. Cardstock

Something that I always need in my scrapbook stash is cardstock. You can purchase packs of cardstock in all one color or multiple colors. This would make a fabulous addition to scrapbooking gift sets.

7. Kit Club Subscription

I love a good scrapbook kit because it takes the guesswork out of what to buy. Everything has been nicely curated for me! Most kit club companies sell kits ala carte or by subscription. Hip Kit Club, Citrus Twist, The ScrapRoom, and Not Just for Boys are some great kit club options, whether you want to purchase just one kit or gift a subscription.

Throw all seven of these together to create scrapbooking gift baskets for your favorite scrapper or pick and choose which ones you think you're scrapbooker would like the most for customized scrapbooking gift sets. And just remember, whatever you choose to give the scrapbooker in your life, it will be much appreciated!
