Kabrita Goat Milk Baby Food

A couple months ago I received a VIP swag bag for attending the virtual NJMOM Baby Expo as an official blogger. One of the items in my bag was a box of samples from Kabrita, maker of goat milk-based formula, snacks, and more.

Why goat milk? According to Kabrita, goat milk is easier to digest than cow milk, milder in taste, and rich in critical nutrients. This mom-created company from the Netherlands hopes to educate American families on the benefits of goat milk and has introduced a line of nutrient-dense first foods.

The samples in my box were goat milk-based toddler formula for ages 12 to 24 months, goat milk porridge for ages 8 months and up, and snack puffs with goat cheese for ages 9 months and up.

Goat Milk-Based Toddler Formula

The toddler formula is fortified with iron and contains no GMO ingredients. There are instructions on the back of the box for how much water and how many scoops of the formula powder to use depending on what size bottle you're making. Just like with traditional formula, you pour in the water, pour in the powder, close the bottle and shake to mix.

Goat Milk Porridge Apple & Cinnamon

The goat milk porridge is all-natural with no added sugar. Just follow the package instructions to mix the porridge with water. Just be aware that the porridge may contain traces of wheat. There's also another warning on the package that this is not suitable for children with a diagnosed cow milk protein allergy. (None of the other products have this on their package.)

Snack Puffs with Goat Cheese

The snack puffs are gluten-free and made with no added sugar or GMO ingredients. Even though they are for ages 9 months and up, I gave these to my almost 5-year-old, and she devoured the whole bag. I'd say that's a win!

You can get the sample trial box that I did by ordering from the Kabrita website and paying $4.95 shipping and handling. So check it out if you're looking for something different for your baby and toddler!
