In Case You Get Hit By a Bus Book Review

Do you know what would be really romantic during this month of love? Making your end-of-life plans and discussing them with your loved ones so they know what to do and where to access your documents, money, etc. when you are no longer around.

I know it sounds morbid, but it's not. It's the best gift you can give your family, and the book In Case You Get Hit By a Bus by Abby Schneiderman and Adam Seifer lays out the steps to take to get your affairs in order.

The book takes you through three levels of planning and breaks the steps down chapter by chapter. By the time you're done reading the book, you'll have your passwords and accounts in order, you'll have lists of doctors and other important contacts, you'll have a will and other important documents, and you'll even write your own obituary.

The last pages of the book are a checklist so you can make sure you haven't forgotten to do something. Plus, there is a website for the book where you can find more information.

I really enjoyed reading this book and would highly recommend it for anyone who, like me, has been meaning to do this stuff but just hasn't gotten around to it. The book makes it easy to get started. And while it takes time to get all this stuff in order, it's time well spent.

So find some time in 2021 to prepare yourself and your family. Because if 2020 taught us anything, it's that we just never know what's going to happen.

In Case You Get Hit By a Bus is published by Workman Publishing and is available to purchase now. I received a free review copy.
