Paper Issues Danielle Does It Live November Scrapbook Challenge

I decided to play along with the Danielle Does it Live challenge over in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook group. Her Live challenges are always on the first of the month, and because November 1 fell on a Sunday, I was able to watch and join in. It was a Simon Says challenge, so there were specific products that we needed to use, and Danielle walked us through how to mimic what she was doing.

I can't say that I followed Danielle's directions to a T, but the basic elements are there: Distress Oxides, a stencil, a stamp, patterned paper. I did my mixed media in the corners of the background page just like Danielle, and then I just sort of took it from there.

I Gesso'd the corners of the yellow patterned paper so that my misting spray stencilwork would show up more. Once dry, I placed my photo in the center and built out my embellishments on the diagonal.

I usually don't scrapbook photos that are recent, but I had all these great coffee-themed embellishments from Pinkfresh Studio and Doodlebug Designs, and I knew that I would misplace them if I waited too long to scrapbook them.

Thankfully, I finally figured out how to make my printer print 4x6 photos onto my glossy 4x6 photo paper, so I've actually been printing out a lot of recent photos. Who am I???

My title is a combination of Bella Blvd and Pretty Little Studio alphas. If you haven't guessed, the title is my favorite Starbucks beverage, and this photo is of me doing a little work from home while enjoying said beverage.

Come play along in the Paper Issues Facebook group for your chance to win a prize. There are so many great challenges this month!
