November 2020 Challenge YOUrself Challenge

It's time for another challenge at Challenge YOUrself! This month's theme is Home for the Holidays. I decided to take a twist on this and scrapbook photos from the 4th of July when we were stuck at home because of COVID-19.

I had a lot of fun making this page, and you can check out the full process video on my YouTube channel.

I was inspired by a layout from Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine that used circles made up of patterned paper. So I created my own circle frames out of white paper and backed the frames with a variety of coordinating patterned paper. Kind of like using a cut file.

I then layered those circles, as well as additional circular embellishments, behind and around my photos. I just love the way this turned out!

And, once again, I'm scrapbooking semi-recent photos! I printed these photos out on my home printer so that I could use them for this layout without having to wait for them to come in the mail. I'm actually pretty impressed at how well my printer prints photos, as long as there is enough printer ink.

So that's it! Thanks for looking, and don't forget to check out the rest of the design team inspiration today on the Challenge YOUrself blog! Enter your own take on this challenge for a chance to win a prize!
