Welcome to another reveal day at Challenge YOUrself! This month's theme is mom/mother because, of course, Mother's Day happens in May. (And it's in two days, in case you forgot.) So the challenge is to scrapbook a photo with YOU in it that has something to do with mom/mother.
Here's mine:
I used the Crate Paper Summer Days collection for this photo of my daughter and I getting a free pretzel last year at our local Philly Pretzel Factory. Every year, the location has Free Pretzel Day to celebrate its anniversary, and we never miss out! I love bringing my daughter along with me for these fun activities. It's one of the things I love about being a mom - sharing these moments with my daughter.
The only thing I don't like about this layout are the American Crafts phrase letters. I had to add extra glue to keep the "Let's Go" part on the page. Anyone else have issues with that? I know the chipboard alphas are like a nightmare, but I expected more from these types of alphas. Oh well.
Thanks so much for looking, and don't forget to head over to the Challenge YOUrself blog to enter your own layout for a chance to win a prize!
