Think Big - Children's Book Review

The animals of the African savanna discover they are capable of doing great things when they believe they can do it in the new children's picture book Think Big by Kat Kronenberg and illustrated by David Miles. This is the third installment in Kronenberg's Live Big trilogy, which includes previous books Dream Big and Love Big.

Readers go back to the African savanna, where moody Baboon watches his fellow animals interact with each other. When one animal saves another, Baboon encourages that animal to do something nice in return. And the chain continues, with each animal discovering the secret inside themselves to be brave, be extraordinary, be grateful, and more.

And, of course, inspiring young readers to be all those things, too!

A guide for "two-leggers of all ages" in the back of the book gives kids and parents ideas for how they can experience the animals' "secret" right in their everyday lives.

After reading this book with my 4-year-old, she happily proclaimed, "I liked that book!" Success!

If you're looking for a book that is encouraging to kids and beautifully illustrated, I would recommend Think Big. This book will be a wonderful way to help kids practice positive self-talk and discover how they can make a difference in today's world. I definitely want to check out the other two books in the series now, too.

Think Big is published by Greenleaf Book Group and will be available on bookstore shelves May 12, 2020. I received a free ARC in exchange for my honest review.
