Today is a very special day. Yes, it's the first of March, but it's also Crafty Meggy's YouTube-iversary! She's been creating scrappy YouTube content for five years now, and if you haven't watched some of her videos, you're missing out on some great scrapbook inspiration. I was on the Cheeky Studio design team with Meggy, and I always liked seeing what she created every month.
To celebrate, Meggy has asked a collection of scrappy YouTubers and Instagrammers to participate in an anniversary hop by picking one of her layouts and scraplifting it. If you follow along with the entire hop, you'll be entered for a chance to win some scrappy goodies!
I'm so excited to share with you the layout that I created. You can see my entire scrapbook process in the video below.
I also have some close-up pics for you to view if you don't have time to watch the video right now.
This was a great way for me to use up some of the items in my homemade scrapbook kit from January. (Yes, I'm still working my way through it.) So I had a double challenge on this layout - scraplift Meggy and ONLY use what I had in my kit.
I chose embellishments from my kit that sort of matched with items Meggy had used on her original layout, and then I just started adding other embellishments from my kit that sort of fit with the emotion in the photo. If you watch the video, I go more into detail there.
Yay! Thanks so much for watching and reading! You can find the full list of participating scrapbookers in the description of my process video on YouTube. Don't forget to follow along with everyone for your chance at winning a prize!
