The 30-Day Money Cleanse - Book Review

Happy New Year! Is 2019 the year that you hope to get your finances in order? Maybe you want to get out of debt or save up for a vacation. Maybe you want to save in case of the unexpected.

Before you can meet your money goals, you've got to do The 30-Day Money Cleanse. This book by Ashley Feinstein Gerstley takes you through four weeks of exercises to help you get your money under control.

And that's not just the physical money. Gerstley wants you to change your entire mindset about money: how you think about it, how you talk about it, how you spend it, how you save it.

She writes that the average 30-Day Money Cleanse participant saves $950 a year. That's a pretty big savings. Think about how much stress $950 could lift from your shoulders!

I'm not sure if the book is supposed to be geared toward women, but I kind of got the feeling that Gerstley was writing with women in mind. Or maybe it just has to do with the author being a woman and writing from her perspective. But I think whether you're male or female, this book offers something tangible to help you meet your goals. I'm definitely going to be doing the Money Cleanse this month. Wish me luck!

The 30-Day Money Cleanse is published by Source Books and is available on bookstore shelves today. I received a free advance review copy at Book Expo.
