Remember that awesome Wishes collection I was telling you about the other day from Cheeky Studio? Well, here it is being used on a boy's birthday layout. Proof that pinks, purples, and greens are not inherently girly! Look at how rugged I made this one!

The sketch called for three photos, but I only had two, so I used some of the 2x2 cards to create a third "picture". I chose all the ones that seemed fitting for a birthday. And then I embellished with one of the banners from the ephemera pack. I also did my title around this section, which was a play on it being a 1st birthday party: 1 Fine Day. (Alpha letters are American Crafts and knock-off American Crafts. ha ha.)
Aren't the little animals in this collection adorable? I just love the elephant holding the balloon, and I like that there are stand-alone balloons, too. To complete my embellishment clusters, I added some sequins, a bow, and a flair button. And then I used one of the wooden-looking ephemera plaques as a journaling spot in the bottom corner.
This was such an easy layout to complete thanks to the great sketch, and I love how the Wishes collection was so perfect for these birthday photos. It's a great collection for girls AND boys!
