I decided to do the other September sketch challenge over at Stick It Down. Because why not? The more you enter, the better your chances of winning! So here's what I came up with for the two-page sketch challenge:
I used my new American Crafts Jen Hadfield Home + Made collection. It is very family themed, which was perfect for these pictures of my daughter with her grandparents.
I used foam stickers to make the hearts pop off the page, and I layered washi tape and a paper strip over the patterned paper.
The title was easy because it was a Thickers sentiment, so all I had to do was stick it down. And the golden flower was one of the embellishments from the collection, as was the journaling tag. I thought the words "Grateful Hearts" was appropriate, especially now, because my mom passed away a few months ago, so we were definitely grateful that my parents were able to come and visit for my daughter's first birthday party earlier this year.
Thanks for looking!
