Growing up in the St. Louis area, I'm still surprised when I discover that there are places there I've never been to! The Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site was one of those places. And I got to visit there last summer with my parents.
These are the pictures I took of Grant's home. I found just the right papers in an old Colorbok paper pad that I've had in my stash for a couple years. The letter stickers and journaling spot came from the paper pad, too.
I also had some pearl brads in my stash that I thought fit the old-timey, traditional theme of the pictures and the papers.
If you're in the St. Louis area and you are going to Grant's Farm, consider taking a jaunt over to Grant's home, too!
