Though, I can't complain. We had a lovely mini break to New Hampshire and Maine this weekend. I got to try chocolate-covered bacon for the first time! My verdict: not bad but not what I expected.
We also ate a lot of great food at local places that served gluten-free menus. (Stay tuned to the blog for more info!) While I would love to be eating more food at those places, I'll just have to relive the deliciousness through pictures and try to make stuff that is just as good here at home. Here's what we're eating this week:
Sunday: Easter dinner
Monday: pasta with salad and bread
Tuesday: waffles, eggs, and bacon
Wednesday: grilled peanut butter and jelly with baby carrots and Tostitos
Thursday: on our own
Friday: possibly on our own/TBD
Saturday: Perdue Simply Smart Gluten-free Chicken Strips and Ore-Ida fries
