It's the end of summer and the beginning of July this week! I can't believe that we are halfway done with this year (and that I am 30.5 years old now).
With the 4th of July at the end of this week, I'm planning on eating lots of hot dogs and hamburgers this week and next. And we have Canyon Bakehouse gluten-free hot dog and hamburger buns (plus a whole lot of other stuff) to eat them on! I won them during May's Celiac Disease Awareness Month celebration from Celiac and the Beast!
So here is this week's meal plan:
Sunday: penne with ricotta and spinach
Monday: hot dogs, corn on the cob, and fries
Tuesday: Six-Layer Burritos (inspired by Rachael Ray's Seven-Layer Burritos)
Wednesday: chicken fingers and fries
Thursday: whatever we have as leftovers
Friday: minor league baseball game!!
Saturday: bacon cheeseburger turkey meatballs
