TBT - Wedding Layouts

So, I should have posted these wedding layouts last week when it was our 5th wedding anniversary, but I schedule my blog posts in advance, and when I was doing last week's posts, I didn't even do a scrapbook Throwback Thursday!

Here they are now for you to see. I chose these two layouts to share this week because I just love the simple design on them. (Not to mention the color scheme!) Simplicity was key when I was making my 40-page wedding scrapbook album.

Yes. My wedding album is 40 pages.

Our photographer from Memories Are Forever in St. Louis, Missouri offered a package deal where you could get ALL the photos on a DVD, and then print out the ones you liked best either at home or at Walgreens. (We had a note from the photographer giving us permission to print the pictures in case Walgreens gave us trouble. Walgreens didn't.)

I loved having that option because I didn't want to have to choose only a few pictures to keep. Plus, it allowed me to scrapbook the pictures and print them out in different sizes if I wanted.

Our package also included a free engagement photo session, which was pretty sweet, AND the photographer made our save the dates and gave us printed copies and the digital files. AND at the wedding, even though we paid for two photographers, a third one showed up! So we had TONS of pictures to go through when it was all said and done. AND the photographers were not in your face. We had no idea they were even taking half the pictures they were taking.

It's also important to note that this package was still less expensive than what other photographers charge, especially out here on the East Coast. So you should probably get married in Missouri. Just sayin'.

  1. It sounds like you got a great deal on your wedding photography. As a photographer, I have to say... weddings are hard! It's great that you got so many amazing photos. I love your layouts, sometimes simplicity is the best way to go!
