How About a Cuppa?

That's how the Brits say it. Instead of "cup of tea", it's "cuppa". I love it.

And I love tea. If you're ever in Chester, NJ, I'd highly recommend paying a visit to Sally Lunn's Tea Room. The restaurant has a good menu of "regular" food, but you can also get tea sandwiches and scones. OH THE SCONES. WITH CLOTTED CREAM. You have to get one of the scones! Or two or three.

And there is an extensive list of flavored teas. The Very Berry herbal tea is really yummy.

That's where my parents and I ate lunch back in July. When I saw this floral paper in my scrap stash, I knew it needed to be used for something girly, like a visit to a tea room. And then I had a little house journaling sticker, and I thought that would be good for this layout, too.

I got the inspiration for the design from this layout. I made the circles using my Spellbinders Grand Calibur! Some of the circles are just open in the middle, but in some I added patterned paper as a background. Definitely a technique I'd like to use again. I'm just finding so many fun ways to use the Grand Calibur!

    1. Thanks so much, Hanna! Too bad I'm not closer to Africa, or I'd have to pop in for a visit and a coffee. :)
