My mother-in-law told me this, which she learned from reading Hints from Heloise:
If you have a candle in a glass candle holder and the candle has melted so that it's stuck to the inside of the candle holder, put the candle holder in the freezer for a bit, take it out, and voila! the candle slides right out.
My first thought was, "Seriously? I'll probably do this and then the candle holder will crack and the candle still will not come out."
But oh no. It worked PERFECTLY.
Pretty cool, huh?
