I'm a few chapters into By His Wounds You Are Healed, the Bible study for women I wrote about a few posts ago. One chapter was all about looking at life not from an Earthly perspective, but from a Godly perspective. In this chapter, I found the Bible verse from 2 Corinthians that I put in my last post and I have to say, just thinking about that really got me through the week. We've been having so much trouble with getting our mortgage but I decided to focus on the good things to come (what I can't see) instead of focusing on the bad in the present because the bad always goes away at some point. I just kept telling myself that.
And then we found out Thursday that we are approved for our mortgage and so now things are moving forward. Yay! There are still some issues but I know that next month it will all be over with and we'll be in a new and more spacious place and I'll be able to get a new desk and have a room for scrapbooking. :)
Then I came across the new scrapbook challenge over at the All About Me blog and it was about viewing your world from a different angle. And I thought, How perfect? I can scrap about viewing my life from a Godly angle and use the 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 verse. So that's what I did:
The LO is based on sketch #59 from The Scrappiest. I used up some old Christmas paper and raided my ribbon stash on this one. My goal is to use as much of my scrapbook supplies before we move so that I have less to pack. Although that means more physical scrapbooks and those things are heavy. Oh well. Gotta make the movers work for their money.
