Today (and this whole week, actually) has been pretty poop-tastic. (Thanks goes out to the secretaries - I assume that's what they are - at Bank of America mortgage processing center for being helpful this afternoon. All I wanted was a quick status check and some questions answered. And they were the ones to do it.)

But what really lifted my spirits and gave me a hearty laugh at my desk was this: Paris Hilton scrapbooking supplies

Did you know that Paris likes to scrapbook? Oh, but she does. As her website so succinctly puts it, "I LOVE SCRAPBOOKING, BEING CREATIVE IS HOT!" (Use a period between sentences, Paris.)

I don't mean to diss on Paris or anything because for all I know she could have a zillion scrapbooks in her massive walk-in closet, and when she's not partying, she could be spending her free time scrapping. She could be a fan of the same scrapbook brands that I like, although I really can't see Paris Hilton shopping at Michael's.

It's just that, well... this endeavor doesn't make sense. Martha Stewart scrapbooking... YES! I get that. Paris Hilton scrapbooking... uhm, not so much.

I guess if you're really into bling and miniature dogs wearing crowns, then this collection is right up your alley. (You can also buy fabrics.) But I don't know. In the words of American Idol's Randy Jackson, "I'm just not feelin' it, dawg."

Sidenote: Have I fallen off the celeb gossip radar or has Paris Hilton? It's been a looooong time since I've read/seen/heard about her doing anything out in public.
