Oh Hi Scrapbook Page

There's a sketch challenge going on this month at The Studio Challenges. You actually have until November 3 to enter, so don't worry! There's still plenty of time to participate. Here's what I created using the sketch as inspiration.

The original sketch used two vertical photos, but I only had this one horizontal photo, so that's what I used instead. And I placed a 3x4 cut-apart next to the photo as my main title, instead of placing the journaling there as shown in the sketch. You'll see a little tag (from Cheeky Studio) peeking out behind the cut-apart, and that's where my journaling went.

I also decided to add some sequins to the layout, but I wanted to do something a little different. The cut-apart's letters had little circles inside them, so I placed sequins over those circles. I didn't want to do it on all the letters, and looking back, I should have done the sequins on the H's for some uniformity, but oh well. Once those sequins are Glue Dotted down, that's it!

I backed the photo and all of the patterned paper so that everything would pop against the white background. And then I just placed a few stickers here and there. I really like the "hello" ephemera piece. That's old Cheeky Studio from the Notebook Nancy collection.

And that's it! Just scrapping a pic of my daughter and my dad being silly at a restaurant last year.

What are you guys scrapbooking right now?
