My Favorite Things - September 2019

Judging by my favorites lists every month, you probably think that my life revolves around food. Well, you'd be right. Here's what I've been eating this month - and will continue to eat because it's all so, so good!

1. Ben & Jerry's Non-Dairy Coconut Seven Layer Bar
I recently discovered this flavor of non-dairy ice cream at ShopRite, and you guys, it's SO GOOD! I was a little wary of coconut ice cream, but it's really yummy, and when mixed with the caramel and the walnuts and the chocolate chunks - I'll definitely be treating myself to this one again.

2. Kellogg's Special K Pumpkin Spice Cereal
It's fall, y'all. That means all the pumpkin things! My husband hates pumpkin, so I never make or buy him any gluten-free pumpkin stuff. This pumpkin spice version of Special K cereal is all mine. (And my daughter's. She's kind of into Special K.) It doesn't have dairy in it, either, so that works for me!

3. Hoboken Farms Marinara Sauce
I've probably posted about Hoboken Farms before. They used to exhibit at the Gluten-Free and Allergen-Friendly Festival. (Though I don't think I saw them on this year's Nourished Festival list.) This is truly some of the best sauce I've ever tasted. I actually gave it as Christmas gifts last year. It's gluten-free and dairy-free, but because it's basically homemade, it's a little more expensive than traditional sauces. Sometimes ShopRite has it on sale for 50 percent off, and when that happens, I take advantage! But even if you don't live in NJ, you can still get your Hoboken Farms fix through Amazon!

4. Pedicures
I do not get pedicures often, guys. Or manicures. One of the best things about being pregnant was that I HAD to get pedicures. I couldn't reach my toes, and those things needed some clippin'! There is a local place near me that has the BEST pedicures. I'm talking hot stone leg message, lotions, and the nail polish job all for $30. Unfortunately, the below pedicure is not from that place, but it was still a decent pedicure for a decent price. I need to treat myself more often, I think.

What are some things you're loving so far this month (and this fall)? Let me know!
