Scrapbook Process 355

Come check out the YouTube channel today for a process video that shows you one way to use up embellishments! I was inspired today by a scrapbook page in the winter 2021 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine.

 

I had a lot of leftover Christmas embellishments, so I decided to layer them up on either side of my single horizontal photo. There are a few pieces of patterned paper behind the photo, and I did ink the edges of everything in black ink from Hampton Art just to make it stand out more against the busy red and white background.

I think I like the right side of the layout better than the left side. What do you guys think? 

I added a journaling spot and other embellishments to the top of the layout because I needed somewhere to write what was happening in the photo.
