May Challenge YOUrself Scrapbook Challenge - Get Messy - Process 326

Check out the new theme for May's Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge: Get Messy! This is perfect for those of you who love doing mixed media, but it's also a great challenge for those scrapbookers who are new to using inks, stamps, stencils, pastes, etc. (If you want more inspiration, head to my YouTube channel to watch today's process video, come back tomorrow for Mix It Up Monday, and visit the Challenge YOUrself blog to see the rest of the design team's beautiful work!)

In an attempt to cross something else off my Paper Issues Bingo board, I created a sprayed rainbow with my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays. Kind of has an airbrush effect, right?

Then I grabbed everything brightly colored or that had rainbows or rainbow stripes on it, and got to work creating a scrapbook layout using a selfie of me from Girl Scout Leader's Day. (That's one of the rules of every Challenge YOUrself challenge - you must have a picture of YOU somewhere on the layout.)

I broke out some old Simple Stories, some patterned paper from this month's scrapbook haul, and some Obed Marshall embellishments from last month's haul!

Thanks so much for looking! I hope you play along with this challenge!
