Iron Crafter Challenge - Ribbon - Scrapbook Process 315

This month I'm participating in Piece Craft Love's Iron Crafter Challenge! Each month, Anna challenges us to use a different crafting tool/supply on a layout. This month, we had to use ribbon! As you'll hear when you watch my process video, I decided to keep things simple. After all, that's the best way to use up stuff in your stash, especially stuff you don't use all that often.

When I first thought of ribbon, I thought of these Simple Stories tags from my March haul. What better way to combine both items than to punch a hole in the tag hole and tie ribbon through it? So that's what I did!

And then I added in the navy Fancy Pants Designs trim along the bottom of the tags and behind the photo.

You'll also notice that I did some mixed media on the background of this layout. I used two colors of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide sprays and the smooching technique! The white cardstock is Vicki Boutin Foundations paper.

Be sure to watch my process video for this 12x12 scrapbook layout because you'll also find the list of everyone playing along this month. There is always a lot of inspiration in these hops!

Thanks for looking!
