Scrapbook & Cards Today Inspiration - Using One Side of a 2-Page Sketch - Process 302

Want to know if a two-page layout can be separated into just one page? If you watch today's process video, you'll find out! (Spoiler alert: you can!)

This is a layout I'm making for my summer 2022 vacation album. As you can guess, we went to Disneyland! I haven't printed out the photos yet, but I have the papers and plenty of ideas and inspiration to complete the layouts so that I know exactly what photos to print and what size to print them. I'm using Persnickety Prints to store my photos and print in a variety of sizes.

The inspiration for this layout came from a two-page layout and PageMaps sketch in the summer 2022 Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine. I got to use up leftover scraps of Simple Stories patterned paper, mix in papers from Keep it Simple, use my Creative Memories circle cutter to cut out cardstock circles, and create one side of a two-page layout!

But doesn't this look great even without the other side?

Just as you can take a 12x12 scrapbook sketch down to a smaller size (8.5x11, 6x6), you can also only take one side of a two-page layout (either left or right) and create a single-page layout! Make sketches and other inspiration work for you!

Thanks for looking!
