Not Just for Boys 2-Page Soccer Layout - Scrapbook Process 295

Today I'm sharing a two-page layout using the soccer-themed Not Just for Boys Kit Club that I purchased a few weeks ago. This was a fun one to put together because I was using the sample layout as inspiration, but I had WAY more photos to get scrapbooked, so I also had to make this two-pager my own. You can see how it came together in this process video

On the first page, I kept the design pretty much the same, but instead of two 4x6 photos, I used one 4x6 photo and two horizontal 3x4 photos. I actually cut those two photos down from 4x6, which helped focus on what was important in the photos: my kid kicking a soccer ball.

On the second page, I created a four-photo grid in order to get even more photos on this spread. Those are also 3x4. I had a few extra photos from this soccer season, but I decided to just trash them. There wasn't room for any more photos, and I had already used the best of the photos on the layout. Sometimes that happens - you print out more photos than you actually need.

One of the things I like most about these scrapbook kits is that they come with a cut-file ready to go. I like this because I don't have a cutting machine, but I love the idea of using cut-files. Thanks to Not Just for Boys Kit Club, I can easily back cut-files without a special machine!

Thanks for looking!
