Two-Page School Days Scrapbook Page - Scrapbook Process 270

Today's scrapbook layout is a two-page layout that I created based on this Pinterest pin from my Scrapbook/Cards Pinterest board. I liked the general design of the photos because I had a lot of photos from my daughter's Kindergarten graduation party to scrapbook! In today's process video, I go into more detail about how I created this layout based on the original design.

I used a combination of scrapbook products on this layout. Most of them came from my September Best of Both Worlds kit, which included a school-themed collection from Simple Stories. The background patterned papers are from Keep It Simple's Hello Adventure collection, which I got on sale at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo.

I really like the design of the lefthand page with its four smaller photos going across the bottom of the page. This could easily be modified as a single-page design if you're not into doing two-page scrapbook layouts.

The righthand page was a little harder for me, but that's probably because I didn't follow the exact patterned paper placement from the original design. I only followed the photo placement.

But that's okay! I like a challenge, and this gives me a reason to try this design again and see how I can make it work for me in a different way.

Thanks for looking!
