October Off the Board - Scrapbook Process 277

Alright, here we go! It's time for another Off the Board with Pineapple Papers! For this month's scrapbook challenge, I chose a scrapbook layout from Chris Robertson that had a really cool square design behind the photos.

And this is what I came up with using 6x6 patterned papers from Honeybee Stamps and some Echo Park Birthday Girl embellishments. You can watch this come together and get the full list of Off the Board participants in today's process video.

I took the 6x6 papers and cut them down to 4x4. Then I took two photos and kept one about 4x6 and cut the other one down to a little less than 4x4. (The matting behind the photos is fully 4x6 and 4x4.) Instead of a third photo, I used an autographed business card.

I also rotated the placement of the photos. My bigger photo wasn't horizontal, and I didn't want my long line of patterned paper to be on the top of the 12x12 scrapbook page. So I just moved the photo elements around!

It was a nice challenge using birthday-themed papers and embellishments for pictures that were NOT birthday pictures. You'll get the whole story of these photos when you watch the process video!

Thanks for looking!
