Day 6 of 30 Days of Sketches - Scrapbook Process 222

Hello, everyone! Today I'm sharing my take on the two-page day 6 sketch that was part of last month's 30 Days of Sketches with Christy's Beautiful Life. I combined the sketch with the February page kit from Paper Issues. You can watch how it came together in this process video

I didn't have the right orientation of all the photos, but I made it work. So instead of the left-hand side having one vertical 4x6 and two horizontal 3x4 photos, I used one vertical 4x6, one vertical 3x4, and one 3x4 cut-apart from Simple Stories. Hopefully, this shows you how easy it is to make a scrapbook sketch work for you even if you don't have the exact number of photos or photographs in the right orientation.

The right-hand side was supposed to have two more horizontal 3x4 photos, but I just used what I had: one vertical 4x6 and one vertical 3x4. It also makes a mirror image of the first page, especially when I created embellishments clusters on both sides going down the diagonals.

Even though this last series of 30 Days of Sketches is "over with", you'll probably see me playing along with a few more of the sketches here and on my YouTube channel. I don't know if this kit is still available in the Paper Issues online store, but it's worth a shot to check it out. They've got a few more new monthly kits and page kits for you to check out, too!

Thanks for looking!
