For Christmas, I received the PhotoPlay Paprika paper pack, and I thought the bright colors would be perfect for these summertime photos of my daughter playing at the playground last summer. I also decided to use the March JumpStart Sketch Challenge over at The ScrapRoom to inspire me.
Here's what I came up with:
Paprika is very llama-themed, and I have no idea why llamas are so popular, but I'm not gonna cause any drama over it.
To enhance the Paprika collection, I added some of the llama flair and big white bows from Cheeky Studio. The title is a collection of American Crafts Thickers. I'm pretty sure I found them both at Walmart for cheap!
I had originally planned on making one big double-page layout of all the pictures of my daughter at the playground last summer. But instead, I decided I would rather scrap one-pagers and capture each and every moment individually. Yes, it will make my scrapbook albums much thicker, but that's okay.
I really love this collection (my brother-in-law did good picking it out for me - even if he did have a hint), and I can't wait to continue using it on more summery layouts.
Thanks for looking!
