2-Page Scrapbook Page Kits

I inherited a bunch of scrapbook stuff from my mom, and she was really into page kits. So she had a couple page kits already complete, but they didn't have any photos on them. They were summery page kits, and I had just the right photos for them: a summertime zoo trip!

This first one didn't specify where to put the pictures, so I just laid out the pictures however I wanted. I even had space to add in the brochure from the zoo.

The alphas are American Crafts Thickers from my own stash. I recently purchased those on sale at Michael's even though they are an OLD style. I remember using them YEARS ago, and I guess they are so popular that either American Crafts keeps making them and/or Michael's keeps selling them.

The only other thing from my stash that I added to this was a Sassafras Lass journaling sticker. It had a monkey on it, so I kind of figured it was perfect for a layout about a zoo trip.

The second layout DID provide instructions for what size the photos should be and where you should place them. That was very helpful!

And since this was just a continuation of pictures from that same zoo trip, I didn't add any journaling or another title. I thought the big "There are so many wonderful reasons to be happy" die-cut was a good enough title.

I basically just kept everything on this layout as is and added in the photos. Easy peasy.

So basically my mom did the hard work and I just added in the pictures. Thanks, mom!
